Alisha deposited an amount in bank which gives 10% simple interest. If she gets 45000 after 5 years,find the amount deposited by her?

Amount = rs. 45000
Rate = 10%
Time= 5 years

Now,
Let the principle be x
So, amount = principle + simple interest

Again,
Simple interest = PRT/100=50x/100 = x/2

Now,
Amount = x + x/2
Or, 3x/2 = 45000
Or x = 45000*2 / 3 = 15000*2 = 30000

Therefore, Alisha deposited rs. 30000 in her bank account.
