Alison Macintosh and her family are heading to Applewood Orchards to go apple-picking. Mr. Macintosh drove 246 miles to the farm on Saturday. He drove half of this amount on Sunday. How many miles did he drive on Sunday?

Distance traveled on Saturday = 246 miles

Distance traveled on Sunday is half the distance traveled on Saturday i.e

246/2= 123 miles was the distance traveled on Sunday

∴ Distance traveled on Sunday = 123 miles

And total distance is 246+123=    369 miles
