alitha has x apples and y mangoes. if number of apples is 2 more than thrice the number if mangoes then write this information as a linear equation in two variables.find the no of apples when there are three mangoes.

Mangoes = y

Then the lineae equation will be...
x = 3y+2

If the no. of mangoes = 3,
y = 3
x = 3×3+2
= 11

There are 11 apples for 3 mangoes.
