Alka was making tea in a kettle. Suddenly she felt intense heat from the puff of steam gushing out of the spout of the kettle. The temp of steam is not same from that of boiling water so the heat energy made Alka wonder whether temp of steam was higher or temp of boiling water .The temp of steam as well as the temperature of boiling water is 100°C .But the steam has more heat energy due to the latent heat of vaporization
