Alkali metals form complexes

Explanation:

Coordinate complexes

It is a complex formed by the central metal atom and the ligands .

To form complex atom must be of small size and have empty orbital to accept lone pair .

In case of Alkali metals, they are quite  big  in size and they have less charge .

Therefore they are not suitable for  complexes.

But some agents are extremely strong and Group 1 metals can form complexes with them .
