Alkali metals are paramagnetic but their salts are diamagnetic

Alkali metals are paramagnetic because their outermost subshell contains one electron (ns subshell)....
And in salt form they form cation so becomes diamagnetic...

IAS exam question : - एक मूलगा व त्याचे वडील कारने जात असताना कारला अपघात होतो व त्याचे वडील जागेवरच मरण पावतात. मुलगा सुद्धा कोमात जातो. मुलाला दवाखान्यात नेले जाते तिथले doctor सांगतात की हा माझाच मुलगा असल्यामुळे मी त्याच्यावर उपचार करण्यास असमर्थ आहे. घटना दोनदा नीट वाचा न सांगा की तो doctor कोण ?
