potassium cyanide there will be ionic bond and their fast breaking of bond cyanide but in case of silver cyanide there will be covalent bond and there will be stronger bond of covalent so they will be very need of more energy to break the bond since that nitrogen lone pairs will attack on the alkyl halide and form the isocyanide
