All alkalies are bases but all bases are not alkalies. Justify this Statement. ​

The bases which are soluble in water are known as alkalis. All bases may not be soluble in water. They are not alkalis. But alkalis are bases which are soluble in water. Therefore we can say all alkalis are bases, but all bases may not be soluble in water, i.e. they are not alkalis.
