All cells are bound by a cell wall or cell membrane. The cell membrane is living and gives shape and a certain degree of rigidity to the cell. It freely permeable allowing the substance in solution to enter and leave the cell without hindrance. It is composed of lipoproteins.

hope it's helpful :)
