All combustion reactions are oxidation reactions, but all oxidation reactions are not combustion reactions. Why?? Pls give an elaborate answer...

It is because combustion takes place only in presence of oxygen so all combustion reaction are oxidation whereas all oxidation reaction are not combustion reaction because it may be possible the reactant is an supporter of non combustion ..
