All combustion reactions are oxidation reaction but all oxidation reaction isn't combustion reaction.

A combustion reaction is a reaction where the reactant reacts with oxygen to produce CO2 and water.

This type of reaction mainly takes place in organic compounds.

Necessary heat is to be supplied for this reaction.

For example:

C6H6+7.5 O2=6 CO2+3 H2O

But in oxidation reaction oxygen gets added to the compounds.

Here no heat is required.

For example:redox reaction

C+O2=CO2

Hence, all combustion reactions are oxidation reaction but all oxidation reactions are not combustion reaction.
