True

Given:

All decimal numbers are also rational numbers.

To Find:

We have to determine if the given statement is true or false.

Solution:

  • "Decimals are defined as a set of numbers lying between integers on a number line."
  • Generally, they are another way to represent fractions.
  • The numbers present to the left of the decimal point are called as integers and the numbers to the right of the decimal point are called as decimal fractions.

Example : 0.3, 0.7

  • "A number that can be expressed in the form p/q , where p and q are integers and q ≠ 0, is called a rational number."

Example : 3/7, 4/7

We know, 0.7 = 7/10

Similarly, 7/10 = 0.7

Hence, the given statement is true.
