Fundamental rights are the basic freedom which every should be given according to the constitution of the country.
In India, there are six fundamental rights which are protected by the constitution. They are;
(i) Right to Equality: Every person despite their social, political and economic standing are equal in terms of the law. Everyone is supposed to be treated equally in terms of both rights and duties.
(ii) Right Against Exploitation: No person in the Indian constitution is supposed to be exploited physically, socially, politically and economically on the basis of caste, creed , religion or class.
(iii) Right to Freedom of Religion: Every citizen can legally choose their religion when they are legally an adult. Any person can convert to any religion according to their wish and will.
(iv) Cultural and Educational Rights: Under the Indian constitution everyone has the right to choose which culture they want to conform to. It is the right of every citizen to have the access to education.
(v) Right to Constitutional Remedies: Everyone has the right to stand up for their rights or against a crime under the parameters of the constitution.

There are different types of fundamental rights such as the right to due process, marry, privacy, equality and so on given by the Supreme Court and are considered fair and legal.
For example if one is facing criminal charges they have the right to be fairly treated as long as it’s legal.
