The all India conference of depressed classes was formed in july 1942 in Nagpur by Dr B.R Ambedkar.

The renowned president of the conference, N Shivraj, congratulated Dr. Ambedkar as a representative of the Depressed Classes on his elevation to the Cabinet and told that this office opened a new platform for the service of such people.
