AN INTEGER IS LIKE 1,2,3
SO THEY CAN BE WRITTEN IN P/Q FORM

BUT RATIONAL NO. ARE ALWAYS IN THE P/Q FORM AND THE NO. -2/5 is a rational no.but it is not an INTEGER

heya frnd !!!

all integers are rational numbers but all rational numbers need not be integers

EXAMPLE :
3
3 is integer and also rational number as if can be expressed in p/ q form I.e 3/1

2/3
it is a rational number but it is not integer because it is not a positive or negative whole number and integers are not in form of p/q .so a rational number need not be integer
