All integers are rational numbers as they can be written in p/q form example-2 = 1/-2 but all rational numbers are not integers as they can be more or even less than integers

as rational numbers are fractions an integer can be a fraction, if you take the example of -5 you can turn -5 into a fraction -5/1 but a fraction can not be an integer.... as it is part of a different number line
