All life on Earth started as unicelluar, prokaryotic organisms. What structures are vital for
organisms to develop in order to evolve into more complex, multicellular organisms?

Usually for evolution, the organism must have Eukaryotic cells, as it will have a nucleus which controls the cell's activity as well as determine its next generation causing changes in its next generation. Which slowly will start to cause Evolution.
