All living organisms are dependent on light for their nourishment. justify the statement

Plants prepare their food using sunlight, water and carbon dioxide through photosynthesis. The plants are source of food for both humans and herbivores. These herbivores are eaten by large carnivores. So, we can say that all living organisms depend on solar energy because if there is lack of solar energy, plants would not be able to synthesize food. As a result other organisms depend on plants would also face starvation.

that's true that we all are dependent on light. The reason is that we all are dependent on plants and even plants are dependent on light for photosynthesis so plants make there food not for them only but for us also
