All motions are relative. Why?

All motions are relative to some frame of reference. Saying that a body is at rest, which means that it is not in motion, merely means that it is being described with respect to a frame of reference that is moving together with the body.

  • All motion is relative because every object at rest is also in motion and every object motion is in rest and these both term are related to each other... and these all depends on reference point.

  • For example the car at rest is in motion with respect to earth motion
