all non metal oxides are acidic in nature so why ammonium oxide is basic in nature if it is non metal please it is urgent​

most of the non metals donate electron so they are acidic in nature. but  to come in octate state ammonium gains electron so it is basic in nature..

Non metallic oxide react with water and give acids.

CO2 +H2O H2CO3

when metallic oxide react with water it gives base.

MgO +H2O Mg(OH)2

so,non metallic oxides are acidic and metallic oxides are basic in nature.
