All of the rocks are removed from a desert ecosystem.What would happen to the population of dwelling lizards ,and in return the animals eat them? Why?

If all of the rocks are removed from a desert ecosystem then the population of rock dwelling lizard cannot be survive or will go extinct, if they will not change their dwellings. ... Due to decrease in lizard population would allow insect population to increase.
