In this poem, the poet has experienced the sad life on this earth. In this poem he explained the nature with his great imagination. A boy who was swinging on the birches reminded him about his childhood days. Poet also used to swing on the snow laden birches of tree, climbing the trees and sliding on it. Now the poet was dreaming of going back to those days because in present time poet’s life has become pathless wood. Therefore, he had a desire to escape the world but it was not possible.
