Answer:
➩Yes, all parental acts are for the betterment of the children and are necessary for a child to succeed in life. Sometimes parents may take strict actions against their child just to pave an easy path for them and help them to achieve great heights. The same was in case of chapter 'The First Flight' where a young seagull was afraid to fly. His whole family made every effort to persue him to fly. But still he was not able to fly because of his fears and they decided to leave him away for some time. Finally his mother went to fly around him with a piece of fish in her beak. She persuaded his starving son to dive at the fish so that he may learn the art of flying. The young seagull fell from the ledge while he was diving at the fish. Suddenly he opened his wings and found that he was able to fly. The mother seagull was successful and it was a beautiful ending.
