All pure substances are said to be homogeneous but not all homogeneous mixtures are pure. A pure substance is made up of a single element or compound and has a definite composition. For example, water is a pure substance which is made up of molecules. in haemoglobin mixture ,the composition is uniform such as in case of blood which is a combination or mixture of liquid and fluid and blood cells.while a pure substances cannot be separated physically the components of haemoglobin can be separated through technical but not by physically....
