Perimeter = 2( l + b)
2 ( 3x  + 2x) = 100
5x = 50
x = 10

Length = 3 x 10 = 30 cm
Breadth = 2 x 10 = 20cm
Area of rectangle = l x b = 30 x 20 = 600 cm²

4) Area of square = 36 cm²
Side = √36 = 6 cm
Perimeter of square = 6 x 4 = 24 cm

Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle

Now let the breadth of rectangle be x
Length = 2x
Perimeter = 2 (l + b)
24 = 2 (x + 2x)
3x = 12
x = 4 cm

Length of rectangle = 4 x 2 = 8 cm
Breadth of rectangle = x = 4cm

5) Area of rectangle = 36 cm²
Now we know area of rectangle = l x b

We need whole numbers, so the factors of 36 can be the dimensions

 1 x 36
2 x 18
3 x 12
4 x 9
6 x 6

6) Area of square with side 2cm = 2 x 2 = 4 cm²
Area of square with 6 cm = 6 x 6 = 36 cm²

100=2*5x
100=10x
100/10=x
x=10
