3) Let the length and breadth be 3x and 2x.
Perimeter = 2( l + b)
2 ( 3x + 2x) = 100
5x = 50
x = 10
Length = 3 x 10 = 30 cm
Breadth = 2 x 10 = 20cm
Area of rectangle = l x b = 30 x 20 = 600 cm²
4) Area of square = 36 cm²
Side = √36 = 6 cm
Perimeter of square = 6 x 4 = 24 cm
Perimeter of square = perimeter of rectangle
Now let the breadth of rectangle be x
Length = 2x
Perimeter = 2 (l + b)
24 = 2 (x + 2x)
3x = 12
x = 4 cm
Length of rectangle = 4 x 2 = 8 cm
Breadth of rectangle = x = 4cm
5) Area of rectangle = 36 cm²
Now we know area of rectangle = l x b
We need whole numbers, so the factors of 36 can be the dimensions
Rectangle dimensions -->
1 x 36
2 x 18
3 x 12
4 x 9
6 x 6
6) Area of square with side 2cm = 2 x 2 = 4 cm²
Area of square with 6 cm = 6 x 6 = 36 cm²
Ratio = 4 : 36 = 1 : 9
Hope This Helps You!

Hi friend,
3) Let the dimensions be x
Then,
Length=3x
Breadth=2x
Let's find dimensions-
100=2(3x+2x)
100=2*5x
100=10x
100/10=x
x=10
Then the length=3*10=30 cm
2*10=20 cm
Then the area is-
Area of a rectangle=L*B
=30*20
=600cm^2
4) Area=36cm^2
Side of the square=√36
=6cm
Perimeter of the square=4*side
=4*6
=24 cm
As we know that perimeter if both rectangle and square are same.Then we know the perimeter of rectangle now.Now let's find the dimensions.
Let the breadth be x
Length= 2x
Breadth=x
24=2(2x+x)
24=2*3x
24=6x
24/6=x
4=x
Length=2*4=8cm
Breadth=4cm
5) Area of rectangle=36cm^2
Whole number of 36
Factors=
36*1
6*6
18*2
3*12
4*9
These are the possible dimensions.
6) Side of one square=2cm
Area of square= side^2
=2*2
=4cm^2
Side of the square=6cm
Area of the square=side^2
=6*6
=36cm^2
Ratio= side of one square:side of other square
4:36
=1:9.
Hope it helped you........................
