'All successions proceeds to a similiar climax community'

a) Succession in plants occur as xerarch or hydrarch.
b) Xerarch succession takes place in dry areas and the series then progresses from xeric to mesic conditions. The hydrarch succession takes place in water bodies and the series then progress from hydric to mesic conditions.
c) Both these conditions lead to medium water conditions (mesic).
