All that day Mowgli sat in the cave tending his fire-pot and dipping dry branches into it to see how they looked. He found a branch that satisfied him, and in the evening when Tabaqui came to the cave and told him rudely enough that he was wanted at the Council Rock, he laughed till Tabaqui ran away. Then Mowgli went to the Council, still laughing.
—“Mowgli’s Brothers,” The Jungle Book,
Rudyard Kipling
Explain how the ending of the passage creates tension and might lead to a conflict.
Whoever thinks of it first I will give brainly because I’m having a problem coming up with an explanation and I don’t know why.

Answer:
hey mate , here's your answer -
Explanation:
The ending clearly states that Mowgli went to the council laughing , laughing as in not being serious or think of it in a humorous way. there is no sentence then stating taht he is happy or wishes to stay there , so they may be another conflict to elaborate on that story .
this is my opinion , im not sure whether its the right one but still .... hope it helps :D
