yes, its true that all the coal and petroleum is produced by degradation of biomaterial but it takes millions of years for coal and petroleum to form. Due to their continuous usage we are running short of them.It has also been predicted that in a few hundred years we will run short of them. Its the reason why we need to conserve them to meet the needs of future generation.
