All the face cards of heart are removed from the pack of 52 cards and the remaining cards are reshuffled. A card is drawn at random. Find the probability of getting:-
i)a red card
ii)a queen
iii)a red card
iv)a black card​

So all the face cards (king, queen and jack) of hearts are removed from the deck and now 52 - 3 = 49 cards are remaining which are reshuffled.

Hearts are red cards, three face cards as red cards are removed so there are 26 - 3 = 23 cards remaining.

∴ Probability of taking a red card = 23/49.

Now there are 3 queens after the queen of hearts is removed.

∴ Probability of taking a queen = 3/49.

There's no change in no. of black cards so there will be 26 black cards.

∴ Probability of taking a black card = 26/49.
