In this chapter at first we have to learn about acceleration,
Acceleration :-
Acceleration of a body can be defined as the rate of change of velocity per unit time.
- SI unit of acceleration m/s²
- Formula of acceleration :- a = v - u/t
- Acceleration is vector quantity.

- a = Acceleration
- v = Final velocity
- u = Initial velocity
- t = Time taken
Equations of Motion :-
- First equation :
→ v = u + at
Where,
- a = Acceleration

- u = Initial velocity
- t = Time
- Second equation :
→ s = ut + ½ at²
Where,
- s = Distance
- a = Acceleration
- u = Initial velocity
- t = Time
- Third equation :
→ v² = u² + 2as
Where,

- s = Distance
- a = Acceleration
Points to be remember while solving questions :
- If a body starts from rest,its initial velocity, u = 0.
- If a body comes to rest (it stops),its final velocity, v = 0.
- If a body moves with uniform velocity,its acceleration (a) = 0.
