The excretory system consists of kidney ,sweat glands and lungs.
Sweat Glands-Excretion by sweat glands is incidental .These glands are primarily concerned with cooling. The sweat secreted by these glands also carries small amount of nitrogenous waste.
Lungs- Excretion by lungs is in the form of carbon dioxide released in the expired air.
Kidneys-Kidneys are the primary excretory organ and its main function is purification of urea in the blood and throwing out it from the body in the form of urine. These are two bean shaped organs and are located in the abdominal cavity just behind the stomach. A tube called ureter arises from the hilum .Hilum is present in the middle of kidney. The two tubes called ureters arises from hilum and connects to urinary bladder. The urine produced in the kidney flows through ureter and accumulates in the urinary bladder. Then the urine is expelled out of the body through an opening called urethra and sphincter muscles guard the opening of bladder into urethra.
the structural and functional unit of kidney is nephron. These Nephrons helps in the Ultra filtration of blood. Each nephron consist of bowman's capsule . Bowman's capsule is a cup like structure and the outer cavity of the cup consist of mesh of blood capillaries called glomerulus. PCT or proximal convoluted tubule is the starting of the kidney tubule . Middle U shaped part of the nephron is called Lopp of Henle .It is not convoluted but it open into the next convoluted region called DCT or Distal convoluted tubule .It farther open into collecting duct .The collecting ducts receive the contents of many kidneys tubules and pour it as a urine in the pelvis of kidney.
