The Snake Trying is a poem written by William Wrightson Eustace Ross, a Canadian geophysicist who was also a poet.
In his poem The Snake Trying, he is emphasizing that the snakes are not always harmful to humans. They are sometimes quiet harmless. According tho the poet, killing a snake as soon as we see it is completely foolish, even though it is a poisonous snake. He said through his poem, that snakes will bite when it observe any danger or life threatening situation from humans. It bites for its elf protection. He said he felt sad about snakes when humans always try to kill snakes at he first sight.
