Acceleration of prism w.r.t ground= A  

Acceleration of block w.r.t prism= ar

Explanation:

Firstly equate forces on prism.

Nsinθ=MA        −−−−−−−−−−(1)

 

now, forces on block,  

mar==mgsinθ + mAcosθ  −−−−−−−−−−−(2)

N=mgcosθ − mAsinθ −−−−−−−−−−−(3)  

On solving eq (1),(2) and (3) we will get

ar  =gsinθ[M+m/M+msin2θ]
