Yes, it is true that bile is nit a digestive enzyme but it is a digestive juice ( secreted by hepatic cells of the liver ).
It is considered as very important in the digestion of food. Thus because it breaks down fat molecules into fatty acids and glycerol for the further digestion. Not only this but it also increases the surface area if the fat molecules so that the enzyme Lipase ( secreted by pancreas ) may act on them.
