All rectangles have their opposite sides parallel to each other as they have 90 degree in their every vertice.
So all rectangles are parallelograms.

But parallelograms don't necessarily have 90 degrees in their vertices. This makes a parallelogram different from rectangle.

So a parallelogram is not a rectangle.

parallelogram is a quadrilateral with opposite sides equal and parallel...
a rectangle fulfills all the criterias of becoming a parallelogram as even it's opposite sides are equal and parallel.
But to be a , a quadrilateral also has to have all angles as 90. This is not the case with the parallelogram..
Hence all rectangles are parallelogram but all parallelogram are not rectangles
