Answer:-

Here is your answer ^_^ ✌✌

Eyes detects patterns of light which is converted into images by our brain. The light rays falling on an object gets reflected and goes through our eyes through=>

Cornea (outermost transparent layer refracting light onto lens)->Pupil and Iris -> Lens (Refracts light the second time onto retina)->Retina (Light converted into signals and inverted image is created) ->Optical Nerve -> Brain (inverted image is interpreted and correct image is shown)

Firstly the light rays goes through the outermost part of our eye which is the Cornea. After cornea comes the small dark region which is an opening or a hole called as Pupil .

Pupil enlarges as well as shrinks according to the brightness of light.

Surrounding the pupil there is a coloured region called as Iris.

Adjusts the size of the pupil

In bright light the pupil shrinks so that the less light falls inside the eye

In dim light the pupil enlarges so that more light falls in the eye.

Then behind the iris is the Lens

Refracts light and focuses to see the image clearly.

The lens becomes flat in order to see things which are faraway while to see nearby object the lens bends.

This focused light then meets the nerve layer at the back of the eye called as Retina.

Consists of 130 million cells which detects light, inverted image projected on retina due to double bending of light and converts light into electrical and chemical signals.

Then comes the Optical Nerve which acts like a cable connecting the retina to the brain.Retina sees inverted image while Brain which helps to see the right side up .

Our left and right side sees things a bit differently, so the brain combines both the images into one.

Helps in connecting and recognizing the things which we have seen before so that we can identify them.

Further details like shape, depth, color and movement are also added by the brain.
