Amoeba is a unicellular organism ,it divides in to two equal halfs in asexual reproduction called binary fission.Yeast is a unicellular fungi ,it's division is unequal and small buds are produced that remain attached to the parent cell which eventually get separated and mature in to new yeast. This is called budding. So I can't support this statement.
