The above statement is not true. What is necessary is to educate man as to the use of weapons and not destroy the weapons per se. If we talk about the values of compassion, love, caring for each other we will not have the need to use weapons. If we destroy weapons without changing the mindset of people, new ways will be found of harming each other. Therefore, there is a need to change the underlying mindset of people in order to save mankind.
