When Allen is pushing the Toy Car against the Spring, The Energy Allen uses to push the Spring isn't Lost, But it is Stored in the Form of Potential Energy in the Spring.

Now : When Allen let's the Car go, The Spring gets Released and Does the Work on the Car with the help of the Potential Energy Stored. This Potential Energy is transferred to the Car and gets converted into Kinetic Energy.
