40% is Nickel

So, quantity of Ni in 2.5 kg of alloy = 40/ 100 × 2.5 = 1 kg

Percentage of Copper = 40%

Percentage of Zinc = 20%

Percentage of Nickel = 40%

Therefore the amount of Nickel in alloy

= 40*2.5/100

= 100/100

= 1kg
