Alloying is a very good method of improving properties of metal. A metallic substance made by mixing and fusing two or more metals on metal and non metal, to obtain desirable qualities such as hardness lightness and strength is known as alloy. What is the composition of Brass?​

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc, in proportions which can be varied to achieve varying mechanical and electrical properties. It is a substitutional alloy: atoms of the two constituents may replace each other within the same crystal structure.
