Alluminium is more reactive than metals,yet its corrosion is less than that of iron

Aluminium is more reactive prevents corrosion because it forms a sticky coating of aluminium oxide which prevents inner aluminium from further oxidation. While in Iron forms rust which falls away , exposing the unreacted Iron for further oxidation.
