●Let son's age be x
Then,fathers age=3x
10 years ago,
Son's age=x-10
And fathers age=3x-10
ATQ
3x-10=5(x-10)
3x-10=5x-50
3x-5x=10-50
-2x= -40
x=20
Hence ,Present age of son=x=20
and present age of father=3x=3×20=60.

Let the present age of almonds be x and the

age of his son's age be y

According to the first condition :-

x = 3y ...... ( i )

According to the second condition :-

The age of x and y before 10 years

Age of almonds = ( x - 10 )

Age of His son = ( y - 10 )

Given :-

( x - 10 ) = 5 ( y - 10 )

⇒ x - 10 = 5 y - 50

⇒ x -5 y = -50 + 10

⇒ x - 5y = -40 ...... ( ii )

putting equation ( I ) in equation ( ii )

3 y - 5y = -40

⇒ -2 y = -40

⇒ y = 20

Hence the present age of His son is - 20 yrs

and the present age of almonds is - 3 × 20

= 60 yrs

Hope this may help you .
