Almost all values find expression in the poem The Children's Song-love for the country,
shouldering responsibilities, selflessness, compassion, forgiveness, etc. Throw light on
the humanitarian aspect of the poem in the light of the above observation.

Answer:

It is absolutely visible that the poem The Children's Song throws light on humanitarian aspects. Each stanza reflects values and virtues which all men should aspire for.

In the first stanza the children pledge their love and toil to their country in the years to come.

In the second stanza they pray to God to help them to build a great and pure heritage.

In the third stanza they show the courage to sacrifice everything if ever the country needed it.

In the fourth stanza they pray to God to teach them to heed to His judgment only; they wish to be free of the fear and favor of the crowd.

Fifth stanza is the best stanza that shows their humanity; they pray to God to give them the strength to help those are in distress; they never want to hurt the weak with their strength.

In the sixth stanza they pray to God to give them the wisdom to enjoy life’s simple blessings; they pray to God to fill their hearts with forgiveness and love for all mankind.
