Almost every Indian has a personal mobile phone.

But 60% of the population doesn't have access to toilets. why it's so?

It is so, because Indians have a knack to spend on a thing they 'want' instead of a thing they 'need'
And also, they tend to bash government but actually they ruin the government's plan.
Mahatma Gandhi depicted it correctly:
"Be the change you want to see in the world."

So, here's the answer..

Since ancient times, Indians had tried to copy the British and the Americans.
They think that the Americans are more civilized and their activities are also good.
So, they used to copy them.
Mobile phones are also an example of this.

After starting the use of mobile phones, people became addicted to the mobile phones and suggested to others too to use these.


And about toilet, there had been a habit or u can say tradition to go out for this purpose.

So, they never felt any major need for the toilets.
