Hii friend,
Generally we need to understand the meaning of the terms.
Amyloid => protein structure.
Plaque => a mass of cellular organisms like structure occupys empty space.
These amyloid plaques caused the main brain disease name "Alzheimer disease"
How it affects:-
Our brain is a complex structure connected and binds by main kind of nerves. One kind of nerves that present in brain is the "AMYLOID nerves".
These nerves are made up of protein structure and responsible for function.
These plaques which occurs from fatty foods such as meat extract when enters our body reaches these nerves. These surrounds the nerves and release toxins which destroys these beta amyloid nerves which results in death of " brain cells".
plaques are mainly comes from fatty substances which attached the Amyloid nerves this becomes the amyloid plaques.
Hope this helps you a little!!!

Amyloid Plaques
~ amyloid plaques is a type of plaques in which protein pieces called beta-amyloid
forms larger protein found in the fatty membrane surrounding nerve cells.
~ It is formed from the breakdown of a larger protein, called amyloid precursor proteinprotein and protein clump together to form plaques that collect between neurons and disrupt cell function.
