Hii friend,

In simple words,

Intrinsic - inner
Extrinsic -Outer

Intrinsic growth:-

The growth which takes place inside the organisations such as by cell division, organs development and other factors are known as intrinsic growth.
Ex:-

Biological structures like peel to inhibit microorganisms, pH, moisture conent, RedOx potential, nutrient content, antimicrobial constituents, presence of other microorganisms etc...

Extrinsic growth:-

The growth takes place she to some external factors such as temperature change that caused growth in organisms is known as extrinsic growth.

Ex:-

Low pH, low temperature, addition of nitrites, casing and packaging to inhibit microbial growth etc..

How this helped you a little!!!
