By snells law,
2n1=sin1/sin2
Where 2n1=refractive index of second medium
Sin1 = sin of angle 1=sin 60=root3/2
Sin2=sin of angle 2=sin30= 1/root2
There fore, 2n1=0.867/0.707=1.23
Let 2n1 =N
Therefore
N = c/v
C =speed of light in vacuum = 3×10^8
There fore
V = c /N
= 3×10^8/1.23
= 2.49 ×10^8 Ans...

Hope this helps you....
