Step-by-step explanation:

Let the annual profit be Rs.x

Then, Rs.(x - 120) will be distributed between A and B as their shares of profit.

Ratio of profits = Ratio of investments

So, A : B = 3000 : 4000 = 3 : 4

A's share = 120 + (x - 120) X 37

= > 120 + (x - 120) X 37 = 390

= > (x - 120) X 37 = 390 - 120 = 270

= > x - 120 = 270 X 73 = 630

B's share = 47×(x−120)

= 47×630 = Rs. 360

Answer :-

→ Alok recived profit for running the company in 1 year = per month * 12 = 20 * 12 = Rs.240 .

now,

→ In a year, total amount received by alok = Rs.360 .

then,

→ Profit of alok for investment = 360 - 240 = Rs.120 .

and

→ Ratio of profit of A : Y = ratio of investment = 4000 : 3000 = 4 : 3

then,

→ 4 ----------- 120

→ 1 ------------ 30

→ 3 ------------- Rs.90 (Ans.)
