- Distance travelled by Raman = PR + RQ + RQ
- Distance travelled by Alok + Raman = PR + PR + RQ + RQ = 2(PR + RQ) = 2PQ = 2 * 15 = 30 km.
so,
→ Time taken by (Alok + Raman) to cover 30 km = Distance / usual speed = 30 / (6 + 9) = 30 / 15 = 2 hours.
therefore,
→ Distance travelled by Alok in 2 hour = PR = speed * time = 6 * 2 = 12 km (Ans.)
Hence, PR distance is 12 km.
